Rising in Seoul, Kolon One & Only Tower brings research, design, and industry into a single architectural system. Designed by @morphosisarchitects in collaboration with Haeahn Architecture, the building is conceived as both a high-performance R&D hub and a spatial manifesto for material innovation. ✨

The folded massing opens toward the adjacent park, shaping shaded laboratories and shared spaces around a 100-meter-long atrium that acts as the project’s social core. A parametrically engineered GFRP brise-soleil wraps the western façade, balancing daylight and views while embedding Kolon’s own Aramid textile technology directly into the architecture. Inside, continuous surfaces and fragmented geometries dissolve the boundaries between walls, floors, and ceilings, turning the workplace into an immersive, material-driven environment where sustainability, collaboration, and experimentation converge.
